In 1984, when most people considered Thodupuzha to be nothing more than a sleepy little town, Mr. Ouseph Thomas foresaw a future waiting to be lit. With roots in the renowned Pulimoottil family and a dream beyond the textiles industry, he founded PLP—Pulimoottil Lights and Pumps. PLP was built with a vision that quality electrical and lighting solutions backed by know-how would power Kerala’s growing ambitions in the construction industry in the years to come.

Today, led by his son, Jose Thomas, PLP is one of Kerala’s most trusted names in electricals, lighting, pumps, and sanitary ware. What started as a modest electrical shop in Thodupuzha has extensively grown in four decades with five branches and a vision that never stands still.
